Welcome to The Daily Remnant
Standing Firm in an Age of Unraveling: A Call to the Faithful Remnant
“'I wish it need not have happened in my time,' said Frodo. 'So do I,' said Gandalf, 'and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.”
— J.R.R. Tolkien
We live in an age of unraveling.
Standing on the crumbling walls of a once-great civilization, we watch as the foundation stones of faith and freedom are pulled from beneath us. The West, once the cradle of Christendom, now stumbles in its apostasy, trading the eternal truths of God for fleeting comforts and empty ideologies.
But amidst the ruins, a steadfast remnant rises—unbroken, unyielding, and prepared to face the storm head-on.
You are that remnant—the faithful few who hold the line against chaos, who preserve truth amidst deception, and who defy despair. You are the salt of the earth, fortifying what the world has abandoned and standing as a beacon of strength to those lost in the shadows.
This journal exists for you.
THE MISSION OF THE DAILY REMNANT:
The Daily Remnant is a rallying cry for the faithful remnant in an age of unraveling.
As the West crumbles under apostasy and lies, this journal equips you to stand firm in truth, reject compromise, and rebuild a culture rooted in Christ.
The path is hard, but with courage and conviction, we march forward, knowing truth will triumph and Christ will reign.
At The Daily Remnant, we will meet the challenges of this age with clarity and resolve. Like the prophets of old, we will name the lies that enslave us and proclaim the truths that set us free. We will confront the moral and spiritual collapse of our time with the unchanging wisdom of the Church, equipping you to fight back—not with compromise, but with conviction.
This is not a journal for the fainthearted. It is a call to action, a rallying cry to those who will not bow to the spirit of the age. In the shadow of the cross lies the promise of victory, for every Christian is called to bear witness to the truth: the darkness cannot overcome the light.
You may feel outnumbered, even isolated, as the forces of this world close ranks against you. But history belongs not to those who yield but to those who stand firm. Solzhenitsyn warned that “men have forgotten God,” but we have not. Chesterton reminds us that “hope means hoping when things are hopeless.” These words are not idle sentiments; they are marching orders for a remnant that refuses to retreat.
“The world might stop in ten minutes; meanwhile, we are to go on doing our duty. The great thing is to be found at one’s post as a child of God, living each day as though it were our last, but planning as though our world might last a hundred years.”
— C.S. Lewis
The mission of The Daily Remnant is to arm you with truth, steel your resolve, and prepare you for the fight to rebuild a culture of life, liberty, and grace. Together, we will discern the signs of the times, expose the lies of modernity, and forge a path toward a future rooted in Christ’s eternal reign.
“The simple step of a courageous individual is not to take part in the lie. One word of truth outweighs the world.”
— Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn
What must we do? We must live not by lies. To live not by lies is to stand firm when truth is costly, to shield your family from the poison of falsehood, and to build communities grounded in faith and courage. It is to reject the world’s fleeting approval and choose instead the eternal reward of fidelity to Christ.
You are not alone. Together, we form a bulwark of faith—a remnant that will not falter. The path before us is not easy, but it has been walked by countless saints and martyrs before us. And like them, we march forward with the confidence that truth will prevail.
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
— Romans 12:2
Stand firm. Fight hard. Though the night stretches long, the dawn of truth draws near, blazing with the glory of Christ’s eternal reign.
For faith and freedom,
— Editor, The Daily Remnant
I am so encouraged by this post and looking forward to hearing more. How we, the body of Christ, need each other at this time! To know we are not alone. Never forgetting that Jesus is the Head of His body, guiding it to its ultimate destiny. To realise that we are a living, vibrant, Spirit filled, Spirit empowered cell in that body, that Jesus truly lives in us, giving us His authority and power to bring His Kingdom more completely to the earth. We need to inspire and encourage each other on our united walk with the Lord, "looking unto Jesus, the Pioneer and Perfecter of our faith".
Finally someone is writing what it is I’ve been seeking 🙏
